De molen die langs de waterloop van de Geul in Wijlre is gebouwd, behoort tot één van de bekendste watermolens in Nederland.
Zicht op de oude dorpskern van Wijlre met de watermolen, de Sint Gertrudiskerk en de Wielderhof.

Bezoek wandelend of fietsend het schitterende Geuldal of in Vaals de hoogste “berg” van Nederland met het drielandenpunt. Ook loopt u vanaf het bungalowpark direct het Zuid Limburgse heuvellandschap in of kunt u een knooppunten, mountainbike of racefiets route volgen. Het Krijtlandpad (SP 7) is één van de Streekpaden in Nederland en een mooie mogelijkheid om Zuid Limburg te verkennen. Ook Pelgrimspad deel 2 (LAW 7-2), een Lange Afstands Wandelpad loopt in de buurt van Simpelveld. De permanente route van de Amstel Gold Race loopt door de omgeving (AGR 365 lus 1, 2 en 3 komen allemaal dicht in de buurt van Simpelveld) met behoorlijk steile hellingen. De Mergellandroute van de ANWB is een geweldige manier om Limburg met de auto te verkennen. Wij hebben de toppen van de heuvels in Zuid Limburg voor u op een rijtje gezet in het artikel Bergen (Heuvels) van Zuid-Limburg.

Vakantie gevoel, in ons huisje kan dat, of je nu een vakantie, midweek of weekendje boekt, of last minute besluit er even tussenuit te gaan. Er is voldoende ruimte in en om het vakantiehuis en alle voorzieningen om zelfstandig vakantie te vieren, zijn op het vakantiepark aanwezig. Voor uw kinderen of kleinkinderen heeft het park twee speeltuinen, tafeltennis, skelterverhuur en een midgetgolf, om met het hele gezin een ontspannen activiteit te doen. In de omgeving zijn veel recreatiemogelijkheden. Voor medioren en senioren geldt 55+ korting en wie tijdig boekt krijgt vroegboekkorting.

Met twee 2-persoons slaapkamers op de begane grond en een parkeerplaats voor de deur is de vakantiebungalow ook goed te bezoeken voor mensen die minder goed ter been zijn.
